On the 5th of May, Hoërskool Dinamika buzzed with excitement as prospective students flocked to the school’s annual Open Day. The evening offered a vibrant snapshot of the holistic learning environment and diverse opportunities available at our school. Young faces were warmly welcomed and taken on guided tours by our wonderful DK/SC, providing a firsthand experience of the school’s facilities.

The tour showcased various departments, each highlighting the unique subjects offered at Hoërskool Dinamika. The smell of freshly baked muffins wafted from the Hospitality classroom, where demonstrations in the well-equipped kitchen hinted at the skills future chefs could acquire. In the science lab, budding scientists witnessed captivating experiments that ignited curiosity and a thirst for discovery.

With students increasingly leaning towards the digital world, the CAT (Computer Applications Technology) and IT (Information Technology) labs offered a glimpse into the realms of coding, design, and technological development. The Agriculture workshop provided a hands-on experience, connecting learners to the world of agricultural technology and the art of welding.

At Dinamika, we aim to develop our learners in all aspects of life—not just academics. The LO hall showcased the school’s vibrant talents, with current students displaying their creative work and inspiring future artists. Aspiring actors were treated to a captivating performance by the school’s talented performers, offering insight into the expressive world of drama and culture.

The Grade 7s got a firsthand taste of sport at Hoërskool Dinamika. From seeing the large CrossFit gym and cricket nets to mountain bikers performing wheelies, the energy was contagious. Visitors interacted with top netball, hockey, and rugby players on the quad and watched judo and chess matches. They also met our athletic coaches, equestrian team, golf players and marvelled at robotic creations.

The Open Day at Hoërskool Dinamika was more than just a tour—it was an immersive experience designed to ignite passion, create opportunities, and foster a sense of belonging.

We hope that all the students left with a clear vision of the vibrant and holistic education that awaits them, eager to become part of the Namie family.
